Roll call for Monday and Tuesday

Well I just posted a message and somehow the computer ate it up.  Maybe this is a sign.  Anyhow - good afternoon PA peeps,

     Since it is close to quitting time at most places of employment I decided that this roll call will cover today and tomorrow.  I felt like I was in merry olde England today with all the fog.  It certainly was depressing being out in this weather.  I don't know how people handle the lack of sun -  I can't wait for it to show its shiny face again.  Not too much going on in Donnaville these days.  Will be working in the 2nd grade tomorrow and seeing the chiropractor.  I am grateful to have some things plans because I would probably just stay in my PJs.  That's what happened on Sunday.  I couldn't get motivated to leave the house so I just crashed.  Don't want to get back into that habit again. 

     It's hard to believe that Christmas is 2 weeks from tomorrow.  I am not known as a person who exudes much holiday cheer - much closer to Scrooge than Tiny Tim.  Hope that all of you survive these next 2 weeks.  Happy Hanukkah to those of you who celebrate that holiday.    I am going to work on having a pleasant attitude in spite of what Mother Nature is doing these days.  Have a good day tomorrow.  Take care.

Good Monday & Tuesday Donna & PA Peeps...

I'm on vaca today and tomorrow.  Today was the eye doctor early this morning.  The stuff to dilate my eyes has finally worn off.  Yeah!  On a good note - my eyes are good, I need new glasses not because the old ones are no longer the correct prescription, because they are the only prescription that works for me, so it's time to get a back up pair.  My older back up pair hurt my eyes the last time I used them so doc said it's time for a new pair.  I've had this pair almost 4 years so time for a new hipper look!

Now I am sitting here scanning all the receipts and such for all the expenses Gene and I have had since the GC abandoned our house project.  I started around 4 and do not see an end in sight.  Keeps me from baking cookies tonight LOL

Not sure what I have planned for tomorrow.  I did find a little fake Christmas tree last night, Gene found some decorations out in the basement with a thick covering of dust and dirt so maybe I'll take the shop vac out there tomorrow.  I tried to put some of our Christmas Annalees out by the fireplace - Ez decided they were toys and started to eat Santa's beard.  So rather than sit there with a water gun today - I was tired from the eye doctor, I decided I'll put them back out tomorrow and sit up there with the water gun till he gets the hint.

Wednesday back to work...I need another vacation :-)

Thanks for posting roll call  Donna!! Glad to see you here! I am happy to hear that you are subbing, it keeps you busy and you earn a little bit of money too! WIN! WIN! Thanks for the Chanukah wishes...since I had to spend $600 on my car, no chanukah presents for me . Deanna is having a good holiday though! I hope you can get into the holiday spirit and enjoy your friends and family!

I am busy preparing for my holiday concert in a week?!!?!? Cannot wait until it is done..
